HTE has set herself the target to behave in an exemplary manner towards the environment and all its natural resources in the context of an ecological economy. This means the development of modern products, environmentally friendly production processes, careful selection of components to be recycled at end of lifetime and commitment to the development and promotion of alternative energy sources and heat recovery.

Since it was founded in 1999, our company, almost more than any other company in the industry, has pursued the goal of improving the quality of life of people with innovative and non ordinary technologies. But, over the highest possible level of technology for our products, there is the protection and conservation of the environment, which for us is a matter of "vital importance". That's the reason why we are able to offer you a wide range of environmentally friendly products labeled according to the legislation in class A and A +.

From this awareness, HTE maintains a consistent environmental strategy, implemented systematically across the company, working globally with key partners in our industry by studying and developping products more and more efficient and designed to minimize energy consumption as much as possible.

The most pressing environmental problems, especially global warming, pose a major challenge for the whole humanity, which can only be won by focusing and a strong determination in the whole chain.

The factories of HTE are optimized according to high environmental requirements. In the manufacturing process, for example, there is a tendency to reduce the packaging material, adopting the "zero miles" philosophy, eliminating at the origin the quantity of material destinated to be recycled or reducing the unnecessary transport. We are concentrating our efforts in the development of up-to-date and technologically advanced products, following the expectations and indications of our customers. At the same time, we make every effort to reduce and replace those chemicals that are harmful to the environment.

Heavy oils have been eliminated from the molding processes and consequently every chemical degreasing process eliminated. The welding of the circuits is localized only at the relevant points to prevent waste. The human being and the environment are the core of our way of being.

In addition to that we are contributing to the reduction of the emissions of greenhouse gases, for example by promoting cogeneration systems thinking in the energy recovery as a new and powerful resource. We manage the natural resources, such as water, recycling it in large part within the production.

Our factories are seen as models for all production sites in terms of progress and environmental performance.

INTRODUCTION

Here are some figures. Almost 70% of the energy used in the industrial production is consumed by electric motors. This value corresponds to about 427 million tons of CO2 emitted into the atmosphere. The European Commission is convinced that taking appropriate action can save the equivalent energy consumption of Sweden.
